The beauty of LA is that we can get lost in the forest in a matter of minutes and it is always such a nice escape from the city… even if only for a few minutes. Fall days in LA aren’t really fall at all, I’ll admit, but guess what? We still have cooler days and even cooler mornings. That’s why it’s essential to have a go-to lightweight jacket and sweatshirt in rotation. I love fall and I love layering but, of course, keeping it light is a must.
I am really digging neutral earthy tones and one trend I see making a big return this fall season is camo print. Camo print had a huge surge in the late 90’s early 2000’s so seeing it make a comeback in a more tailored and updated way is right on par with my style. I liked the way it paired over this eucalyptus crewneck sweatshirt (which, btw, is very comfortably soft) and classic pair of jeans and an even more classic pair of good ole chuck taylors. It’s an easy every day fit that does just as great in the city as it does on a walk in the woods.
