Working from home can take a minute to get used to… luckily, I have gotten into a good morning routine that makes being a freelance menswear blogger that much easier. I am all about making moves that make life easier and free up mental space to create. Now, as you all know, I am a coffee drinker… better yet, a cold brew coffee drinker. So, when Cuisinart reached out to partner up with them on their GENIUS cold brew maker, it was a no-brainer… of course I was on board. All throughout the day, you will catch me sipping on a cold brew and nine out of ten I am walking around with a cup (as you have seen in several of my pictures!) Excited to share what my mornings are like while getting ready for the day. Continue Reading
One of my goals at the beginning of this year was to travel more and travel often! Well, I have definitely been achieving that and, luckily, I have been traveling in style with my durable aluminum carry-on and luggage from Ricardo Beverly Hills. It seriously has made traveling easier, efficient and oh so stylish with its sleek and classic silver look. Continue Reading
I’ve been having fun exploring various cities these last couple of months and my latest trip to Scottsdale, Arizona was one for the books! With its desert vibes and warmer nights, this quick getaway proved to be the remedy for some much needed rest and relaxation. My boys (Ty Severe and Blake Steven) and I had a blast at the beautiful The Scott Resort and Spa.
You know when you find a cool spot that you want to keep all to yourself but also must share because it’s just sooo damn good?! Well, yesterday, I checked out the Croft Alley pop up at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and, boy oh boy, it is a perfect little hidden gem! Continue Reading
Soooo, summer is officially (and slowly) coming to an end but the weather is still warm (especially in LA). Sometimes you get that cool morning brisk and then midday, it is instantly hot! This is what I call “transition weather” Continue Reading
Being a modern man of today is not just about looking good. As someone that is constantly on the go from meetings to fittings to photoshoots throughout different parts of my beautiful city, it’s important to feel confident in your own skin. Confidence can be great style and taste but it stems from being true to who you are and the core values that matter most to you.
These week’s list is loaded with some very talented female singers… and I am not mad at it for one second. Some really cool new discoveries, Feist and Lorde making their rightful comeback, a remake of a classic and a walk down last year with The Neighbourhood.
Well, the sun is out and its starting to feel a lot more like summer than spring in LA. I took a small hiatus from my playlist but IM BACK!! Here is a mix of jams (old and new, of course) that are feeling real good this week. Continue Reading
As a first generation Latino and son of immigrant parents, I am also the first one in my family to go to college. With very little knowledge of the college system, my parents always knew that their kids would go to college and they set that precedent while raising us. School was THE most important part of growing up.
Growing up in a first generation household made things much more difficult because my parents didn’t “just know” what the steps to get to college were or the scholarships that were available to them. What they did know was the importance of education and made sure we stayed focus on school. Continue Reading
One of my all time favorite holidays has always been Labor Day. Why? Because it’s a three day weekend in late summer with just the right amount of heat and sun that make the days feel that much nicer. This past weekend was nothing short of that hanging with some of the coolest guys I know; Blake, Ty, and Perkens.
